DIANA IOVANOVICI-ȘOȘOACĂ, NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN HERO, ABUSIVELY ESCORTED FROM THE PLENARY SESSION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT
Today, the European Parliament has revealed its true face: an institution that censors and suppresses voices against bureaucratic dictatorship and attacks on the fundamental values of European nations. Diana Iovanovici-Șoșoacă, the lawyer and MEP, a true national and European hero, was abusively escorted from the plenary of the European Parliament after she courageously expressed her opinion on faith and freedom.
During her speech, Diana Iovanovici-Șoșoacă raised a religious icon, symbolizing the deep connection between the Romanians’ faith and their national identity. She vehemently criticized the policies imposed by the European Union, especially the management of the pandemic and forced integration policies, which threaten national sovereignty.
„The European Parliament and Ursula von der Leyen must understand that we will never accept the dictatorship of Brussels! You have killed people and suppressed fundamental freedoms! Romanians will not kneel before bureaucratic tyranny!” said Diana Iovanovici-Șoșoacă before being forcibly escorted from the room.
This act of censorship and abuse of power is an insult to democracy and the fundamental right to free expression of opinion. We strongly denounce this action and demand the immediate respect of the fundamental rights of all elected representatives.
The European Parliament and Ursula von der Leyen must be held accountable for these abuses and for the suppression of voices defending the traditional values and fundamental freedoms of European citizens.
We will not be silent! Faith and freedom are above all censorship!
